Xbox 360/Playstation Movie/Video Menu Question? Can I add cover art to those movies that Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 play via hard drive or any network. Can I add additional info such as description or any other tags as well? If so, how?
Playstation Problem? I bought my husband the new Metal Gear Solid. He was downloading it lastnight. It stopped at 80% and then we got a red question mark on the screen. It locked up and he couldnt do anything with it except turn it off. Now when we put any disks in it, it wont start automatically. It will let me navigate around the playstation menus (network, games, add user, etc) . It normally starts a game or movie automatically and now it just starts up at the screen that says SavedGameData. Does anyone have any idea what the @#$ is going on? Could it be out of memory? If that was the case, wouldnt it still play blue rays? ..........HELP!!!!
Will a Japanese PS3 play British Blu-Ray Movies and Games? I have recently been looking at purchasing a Limited Edition MGS4 Gunmetal Grey PS3 console but I can only find it with a japanese region. Would it be able to play British blu-ray movies and games and also have no trouble on the British playstation network? Thanks ;)
YOUR OPINION... What is better? The Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360? There is ALOT of comments about which "next-gen" console is better. There is a big war of fans out there, and I want your opinion on what is THE BEST. Think about graphics, gameplay, online, extra media capabilities (music, videos, etc.) and other things that consumers would want to know about when you write your opinion. Since I am the president of an electronic, movie and gaming network, all opinions will be put into a poll (unless specified not to) and will be shared worldwide.
720p vs 1080p? hello! im considering between a 32" samsung 780p lcd and a 32" sharp aquos 1080p. ive seen both of them side by side at bestbuy... im not sure if they were on the same settings, but the samsung looked a bit better. is there any disadvantage to getting the 720 vs 1080? im mostly into movies, network tv, and playstation 3 games. the room im putting it in is pretty small; i estimate about 8' of space between myself and the tv. can anyone recommend a particular tv brand and model? preferably below $1400... thank you! i do really need a 32"... i think anything above will be overkill in the small room... the habitable area is only about 9'x9' what are the negative effects of using 720p with a playstation 3?
E-mail of the European PS3 people? Its' been about a month since I've signed up for the Playstation Network, and I haven't received my complimentary Casino Royale Blu-Ray movie. Could someone give me the e-mail address of the European PS3 people?
hey yahoo people i know y we pay for xbox live? its because stupid microsoft made the dumb xbox consoles cheaper so we have to pay for playing online with xbox live on the other hand sony is smarter and cheaper in a way the playstation network is free so they make the playstation 3 more expensive and u never have to pay for anything unless u wanna get a movie or a game on the playstation store and if u like xbox 360 or the first xbox and u have any crap to say i dont wanna here it THE SONY PLAYSTATION ROCKS WITH MGS4 LITTLE BIG PLANET AND RESISTANCE 2
Switch to digital cable or satellite? I have analog cable service. I have over 10 TV, so I did not swithch to digital as I would have to get lots of them "boxes" I'm buying a 52inch LCD 1080p HDTV. Mostly to play blue ray movies and play playstation 3. Which would be more economical, get a satellite service (I already have the dish. I cancelled Dish Network) or switch to digital cable? Also which would give me the best high def. picture? Oh by the way, my cable service is the shitty Charter.
star if u think this is funny.? THE SPOILED UNDER-30 CROWD!!! If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!! When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up; what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning ... uphill BOTH ways. yadda, yadda, yadda And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it and how easy they've got it! But now that I'm over the ripe old age of thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today. You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a darn Utopia! And I hate to say it but you kids today you don't know how good you've got it! I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalog!! There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter, with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there! There were no MP3's or Napsters! You wanted to steal music; you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself! Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ's usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it! And we didn't have fancy Caller ID Boxes either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister! We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like 'Space Invaders' and 'Asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination! And there were no multiple levels or screens; it was just one screen forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE! When you went to the movie theater there was no such thing as stadium seating! All the seats were the same height! If a tall guy or some old broad with a hat sat in front of you and you couldn't see, you were just screwed! Sure, we had cable television, but back then that was only like 15 channels and there was no on screen menu and no remote control! You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel and there was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-bastards! And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something up we had to use the stove or go build a frigging fire ... imagine that! If we wanted popcorn, we had to use that stupid Jiffy Pop thing and shake it over the stove forever like an idiot. That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in 1980! Regards, The over 30 Crowd gesh some people laugh hahaha!! its a joke. dont take it so serious i am not even over 30 i jus love this. it is so true though.

Is Xbox 360 for me? Gameplay in the demos of Madden NFL 06 & PGR III was slightly easier than the games i normally play on my PlayStation 2.Online features were good, but cost money to subscribe.Family Settings were strong towards games & movies. Its Media Center Extender technology for Windows XP Media Center Edition & Windows Vista Media Center (featured only on Windows Vista Ultimate & Home Premium) was great. The Xbox Live Diamond Card intrested me very well. The HD DVD Drive almost made me think that i can't use a Wireless Networking Adapter at the same time. The controller design was better than the Original Xbox.I didn't like trying to play backward-compatible Xbox games with Xbox 360 by having to download the feature.HD features had me wondering about the real HD experience.Graphics in the games were great, but i thought PlayStation 3 had betterr graphics with its Blu-Ray Disc games.Xbox 360 has no HDMI when PS3 does & Sony's next-gen conole had built-in Wi-Fi & Bluetooth also.Should i get Xbox 360?
major ps3 problems? I have had a ps3 for about 8-9 months and has worked great until now. I am now unable to get online because everytime I attempt to sign-in, it says you have been signed out of the playstation network. I have reset my router/modem and was wondering if I should call sony? Another thing is that lately there has been a problem with it freezing. For example I stopped a movie, and then the tv screen went black and all I could do is hold the ps button and when I tried to turn it off by pressing "turn of the system", the playstation 3 just beeped and stayed on. I had to hold the button on the actual ps3 for like 10 seconds and then it turned off. Other similar situations have occurred where it isn't functioning properly. I am extremely pissed because I take care of all the things that I have. I guess I am a neat/control freak... I want to know what I should do and if anyone else has experienced these problems and how you fixed them. Thanks
Playstation Network? What is the country that allows you to download full games and full movies? And how do you delete your playstation network account without restoring your system?

Playstation 3 VS Xbox 360? well, i am no console expert and i wanted to confirm what I've found so far regarding PS3 and Xbox 360 as i will be getting one soon, i wish PS3 got: - support for more controllers - wi-fi + bluetooth technology embedded - better portability >> no external power supply - blue-ray tech embedded - 1080P support - free online subscription and gaming - more USB ports + memory card support - can play files over the network >> very important to me - got upgradable storage >> laptop hard drive will do the trick - higher quality and lower RMA rates PS3 cons: - no modding AT ALL "will pay for every game and movie" - a bit more expensive than xbox 360 - number of games still didn't reach xbox 360 So, what do you guys think?! it is 2008 now, should i be getting a PS3 over an Xbox 360?! is Xbox 360 a better console?! why?! Thanks for your help and contribution. P.S: i know the modding part means i might be doing illegal regional stuff, but i don't care about that, i count it as a PRO

what system should i get? a ps3 or an xbox 360? The good thing about ps3 is that it has action, adventure, rpg, and strategy games that xbox 360 doesnt have that much. It has blu-ray drive which u can watch blu-ray movies. I can play my ps2 and ps1 games on it. It's free online on the playstation network. the bad thing is that it costs to much and accessories cost much, most of my friends dont have it to play online. Sports games are more boring on ps3. The good thing about the xbox 360 is that most of the games have better graphics than ps3. It has better online and better downloadable content on xbox live. Sports and shooting games are more fun on xbox 360. Most of my friends have an xbox 360. It costs less than the ps3. The bad thing about it is that control is simple, not that musch adventure games. Xbox Live is not free but the good thing that the first year is free. Cant go on the internet. So what should I choose.
